Get Out There with Acquired Brain Injury – GOT ABI

Get Out There with Acquired Brain Injury (GOT ABI) is a newly established NJ 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering young adults with acquired brain injuries to reclaim their futures, connect with their communities, and thrive through awareness, socialization, and advocacy. Our mission is to:

• Create a supportive community for young adults with ABI to connect, share experiences, and build relationships.
• Provide support, and advocacy services to help individuals navigate healthcare, education, and employment systems.
• Educate the public and professionals about ABI, its effects, and the needs of individuals with ABI.

GOT ABI hosts monthly virtual and in-person events for survivors, thrivers, caregivers and supporters. Services to the community include Holistic Nurse coaching, Community Education, Public Speaking and Professional Training.
